Ben Parkin has specialised in ophthalmology since 1992, training in Southampton, and Bristol, and completed an MD in corneal research at the National Eye Research Centre, University of Bristol. He completed oculoplastic fellowships with Tony Tyers, and Ruth Manners in Wessex and Jack Rootman in Vancouver, Canada. He took up his post at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital as consultant ophthalmologist with special interest in oculoplastics in 2003. He is a founder member of BOPSS and a member of ESOPRS. |
